APPLY FOR A PLACE IN THE AURORA FOUNDATION'S (STIFTELSEN AURORA) KINDERGARTENS

Employees of SINTEF and employees of Aurora are eligible to apply admission in Aurora's kindergartens.
Any vacant place will be offered to external applicants.

Stiftelsen Aurora's kindergartens participate in the coordinated admission organized by Trondheim municipality (Trondheim kommune).

Apply for admission on this electronic form: Trondheim kommune.
List two day-care centers as your priority choices in your application. You have to fill in one of Aurora's kindergartens (Baldershage barnehage, Regnbuen barnehage or Sluppen barnehage) and another kindergarten in the form. You will be considered for admission in our three day-care centers.

You also have to fill in this form: Application form and send it to Stiftelsen Aurora by email to bjorg@aurorastiftelsen.no .
In this application form you fill in your priority choices among Aurora's kindergartens.

DEADLINES TO APPLY FOR A PLACE IN A KINDERGARTEN:

February 1st. Transfer admission. You have a place in a kindergarten, but you want a place in another kindergarten.
March 1st. Main admission. You do not have a place in a kindergarten, but you want to have it.

The admission takes place during spring for places that will be vacant from August.

If you get a place in one of Aurora's kindergarten the place is confirmed until compulsory school age.

If you don't work at SINTEF any longer you have to inform Aurora about it and you have to send a new application form. You may have to be transferred to another kindergarten from the next summer.
